‍Venue

  • Ample free parking is available at the venue.

  • When you arrive, please bear right after the entrance to ‘Guest Parking’, rather than driving up to the Manor House.

  • You may leave your car in the car park overnight, but it must be collected on Sunday by 4pm.

  • In case of a fire at the venue, when the alarm sounds, leave from the nearest exit and make your way to the muster point located by the paddock at the entrance.

‍ ‍Dress code

  • Being at such a gorgeous venue, the dress code is formal. Suits and dresses are perfect – we’d love you to dress to impress and feel your best!

  • Our lovely bridesmaids will be in various shades of terracotta, so please avoid wearing that colour if possible.

‍ ‍Photos

  • We’d love you to take photos and videos of the day as you please, but please avoid using your phones or cameras during the ceremony - thank you.

    Drinks reception

  • Prosecco and canapés will be available to everyone.

  • If you’d prefer something other than prosecco, please note that although the bar will not be properly manned at this time, we’ve asked that it be ‘kept an eye on’ in case a few guests would prefer to buy an alternative drink. Therefore, please be aware that service will be a little slower at this time.

  • Despite her deep-rooted love of being a Tear, Emily will be taking Tim’s surname. So you will be meeting the new Mr & Mrs Silversides!

** If you eat meat but prefer the vegetarian options, please state that you’re vegetarian in your dietary requirements, otherwise you will be served the meat dishes. Unfortunately we’re unable to mix menus, so you’ll either be served all the meat dishes or all the vegetarian.

Transport

By train

The nearest train station to Sandon Manor is Royston station (Thameslink). It’s just under a 15 minute taxi journey from the venue.

For those coming from London, the journey time from London Kings Cross to Royston is approximately 1 hour.

If you’re planning to get one of the last trains back after the wedding, please check train times in advance and on the day, to be safe.

Although Uber operates in this area, the venue strongly encourages pre-booking any taxis for reliability, as the venue is in a rural location. The wedding will end at 11.30pm and the venue shuts completely by 12am.

Honeymoon Fund

Having you with us on our special day is the best gift we could ask for. Though should you wish to help us keep the celebrations going, a monetary gift towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

We’ve booked our flights to honeymoon in Sri Lanka in January 2027. Any contribution will go towards helping us make it an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime trip.
